Compaq Evo N160

Installation

On my Compaq Evo N160 I have installed the Debian 3.0 Linux distribution.

I haven't made any test about PCMCIA

XFree :

I have used the XFree 4.2.1 version from the testing part of the debian archive. To prevent the package system to be broken (because i'm using mostly the stable)i have visited all packages of XFree 4.2.1 and copy all files by hand in the right places.

You can download my XF86Config-4

Kernel 2.4.18 :

Here is my config file

Sound :

Everything is working fine with this kernel after sndconfig.

Ethernet :

Choose eepro100.
